Lead and manage engineering design and project execution for boilers, pressure vessels, and related mechanical systems in compliance with applicable standards and company procedures.
Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, material take-offs, and bills of materials using CAD or design software.
Perform advanced engineering calculations (stress analysis, load calculations, pressure/temperature analysis), material selection and welding procedure verification.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams — procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, installation and commissioning — to ensure design intent is correctly realized.
Conduct project risk assessments; identify potential delays or technical issues and propose mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes & standards (e.g. ASME Section VIII, DOSH regulations) and internal safety/quality requirements.
